It is a legal requirement that we can only supply prescriptions for animals that are “under our care”, which means that we must have seen them in the past 6 months. If we have not seen your pet in the past 6 months then a prescription check-up will be required before we can give you any more treatment. In some cases a blood test may also be necessary.

For some conditions, this time interval may be less than 6 months.

Prescriptions can be dispensed with 24hrs notice (excluding weekends and bank holidays)

Written prescriptions are available upon request for a small fee. We are also able to fulfil written prescriptions from other veterinary surgeons.

Food and additional products can also be ordered with 24hrs notice prior to collection (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
