Kurtis graduated with a bioveterinary Science degree (BSc) from the Royal Veterinary College in 2013 and then graduated with a degree in veterinary Science (BVSc) from the University of Bristol in 2018.

Since graduating, Kurtis has been working in first opinion small animal practice within the East Midlands region. Alongside working he has undertaken post-graduate training and in 2023, he obtained both a certificate in advanced veterinary practice (CertAVP) and a post-graduate diploma (PGDip) in veterinary clinical practice (VCP). His training has led to a wide range of interests including internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, emergency and critical care.

Kurtis has two rescue cats and a Jack Russell Terrier to keep him busy when he is at home. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family and scuba diving.
