KELLY DAVIES RVN – HEAD NURSE

Kelly started as a part-time receptionist here when she was 13, and then joined full time as a trainee nurse in Sept 2006.
She qualified in 2011 and then became our Head Nurse.

Kelly has diplomas in animal care and animal management and is also a trained clinical coach. She is a mum to 2 young daughters and she has a Jack Russell called Cyril.

 

CATHY FRASER (RVN)

Cathy joined the practice in 1998 and became a qualified nurse in 2004.

Cathy has keen interests in cat behaviour and canine epilepsy, walking and motorbikes.

She has 2 cats called Litten and Skye, a dog called sprocket, 5 fish, a snail called Tango and 2 frogs called Ribina and Vimto.

After having her two boys she now works part time for us.

 

KATHRYNE WRIGLEY (RVN)

Kathryne has been working as a veterinary nurse since 2003, qualifying in 2005. She particularly enjoys the role of consult nurse and has a keen interest in canine reproduction. She attained her Dog Breeding Diploma in 2010, passing with distinction.

She breeds and shows Gordon Setters and currently has 6 - Zephyr, Tane, Yuna, Tosca, Anitra and Magnus. She is President of the Gordon Setter Association and is the Kennel Club Health Coordinator for the breed. She also writes the breed notes for the weekly canine newspaper 'Our Dogs'.

 

AMY DUNN (RVN)

Amy joined the practice in March 2013. She qualified in August 2011 in Australia.

She has two dogs – Charlie is a Bullmastiff / Staffy and Topper is a multiple Crossbreed.

ANNA CHESTER (RVN)

Anna joined the practice in November 2012.

She qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1999, is a trained clinical coach and has completed a diploma in dog grooming.

Anna has a Jackadoodle called Ethel and a big Maine Coon called Ghost.
Anna is also a very keen horse rider. She now works for us part time since the birth of her son.

 

NATALIE BOWLEY (RVN)

Natalie qualified in 2014 and joined our nursing team in March 2017

SHARRON ADDIS(RVN)

Sharron joined the practice on July 2018. She qualified as a RVN in 2008. Sharron has 2 cats, a three legged cat called Tom and his brother Zack.

LAURA COWLISHAW (RVN)

Laura qualified in 2008 at Bottle Green, and has been nursing since 2006 after completing an Animal Science HND at Brooksby Melton College, she rejoined the practice in September 2018 after having time away with her 2 girls.

Laura has a Labrador called Belle, a cat called Macey and 2 guinea pigs called Phineas and Ferb.

LAUREN ALLEN (STUDENT NURSE)

Lauren joined our nursing team in October 2017.

She has 4 rabbits and 2 guinea pigs. They are a mixture of breeds including Cotton the Angora, Lily the Chinchilla cross Lionhead, Bilbo the New Zealand White, Snowy the Netherland Dwarf and Rolo and Chocolate the Guinea Pigs.

She also loves long countryside walks.

 

KAYLEY WILLIAMS (STUDENT NURSE)

Kayley joined our team in 2016 and is currently in training and set to qualify along side Lauren in 2020. She has a rescue cat and a crazy spaniel who she enjoys spending most of her time with.

Gardening and fun dog shows are also some of her hobbies.

STACI-ANN WRIGHT (RVN)

Staci joined the Woodward's team in September 2017 and Graduated from university shortly after in October 2017.

Her interests are in anaesthesia and analgesia. She enjoys taking care of the impatients and making them as comfortable as possible during their stay.

Staci has 3 cats and a bearded dragon.

GIORGIA HUNT (RVN)

Giorgia joined the practice in January 2018. She qualified as a RVN in 2014 from Bottle Green. She has a particular interest in anaesthesia and pet nutrition.

Giorgia has 2 horses called Ella and Jade and enjoys socialising with friends.

OLIVER JAMES (KENNEL ASSISTANT)

Oliver joined the Woodward's team in July 2017 as a kennel assistant and he eventually wants to become a qualified veterinary nurse. He has a dog called Alfie and a horse called Connor.

BENJAMIN WITCOMB (STUDENT NURSE)

Ben joined the practice in August 2017 after travelling Australia and Asia for a year. He spent a year on reception before transferring to the nursing team to start his training. 

He has a fox red cockerpoo called Barney who loves stealing socks and pulling plants out of the garden.
