KELLY DAVIES RVN – HEAD NURSE
Kelly started as a part-time receptionist here when she was 13, and then joined full time as a trainee nurse in Sept 2006.
She qualified in 2011 and then became our Head Nurse.
Kelly has diplomas in animal care and animal management and is also a trained clinical coach. She is a mum to 2 young daughters and she has a Jack Russell called Cyril.
CATHY FRASER RVN
Cathy joined the practice in 1998 and became a qualified nurse in 2004.
She has interests in cat behaviour, walking and motorbikes; and her favourite breed is the Golden Retriever. After having her two boys she now works part time for us.
KATHRYNE WRIGLEY RVN
Kathryne has been working as a veterinary nurse since 2003, qualifying in 2005. She particularly enjoys the role of consult nurse and has a keen interest in canine reproduction.
She breeds and shows Gordon Setters and currently has 5; Zephyr, Bella, Tane, Yuna and Tosca. She is the vice president of the Gordon Setter Association and is the Health Coordinator for the breed.
She is a season ticket holder for Leicester Tigers and hopes to ski for as long as her knees will let her!
AMY SHACKLES RVN
Amy joined the practice in March 2013. She qualified in August 2011 in Australia.
She has two dogs – Charlie is a Bullmastiff / Staffy and Topper is a multiple Crossbreed.
LEANNE BAKER RVN
Leanne joined the practice in December 2015. She qualified as a RVN in September 2012. She owns a variety of rescue animals. She has 2 cats called Moose and Mittens, and 1 dog called Molly.
Leanne enjoys cooking, travelling and socialising with friends.
ANNA CHESTER RVN
Anna joined the practice in November 2012.
She qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1999 and is a trained clinical coach. She enjoys
helping the trainee nurses achieve their qualifications in becoming veterinary nurses.
Anna has a Jackadoodle called Ethel and a big silver Maine Coon called Pedro.
Anna is also a very keen horse rider. She now works for us part time since the birth of her son.
NATALIE BOWLEY RVN
Natalie qualified in 2014 and joined our nursing team in March 2017
Lauren joined our nursing team in October 2017.
She has 4 rabbits and 2 guinea pigs. They are a mixture of breeds including Cotton the Angora, Lily the Chinchilla cross Lionhead, Bilbo the New Zealand White, Snowy the Netherland Dwarf and Rolo and Chocolate the Guinea Pigs.
She also loves long countryside walks.
Kayley joined the practice in January 2016. She has a 1 year old Sprocker called Poppy and a rescue cat called Biscuit who love each other and both play fetch.
She loves the sunshine and being in her garden practising agility with Poppy.
LAURA BELL (RVN)
Laura qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2014 and joined the Woodward's team in June 2017.
She has 2 pugs, 3 cats, 3 rabbits and a tortoise. She has a particular interest in wound care and management.
She enjoys working and caring for the cats in her family run cattery in Tamworth.
STACI-ANN WRIGHT (RVN)
Staci joined the Woodward's team in September 2017 and Graduated from university shortly after in October 2017.
Her interests are in anaesthesia and analgesia. She enjoys taking care of the impatients and making them as comfortable as possible during their stay.
Staci has 3 cats and a bearded dragon.
GIORGIA HUNT (RVN)
Giorgia joined the practice in January 2018. She qualified as a RVN in 2014 from Bottle Green. She has a particular interest in anaesthesia and pet nutrition.
Giorgia has 2 horses called Ella and Jade and enjoys socialising with friends.
OLIVER JAMES (KENNEL ASSISTANT)
Oliver joined the Woodward's team in July 2017 as a kennel assistant and he eventually wants to become a qualified veterinary nurse. He has a dog called Alfie and a horse called Connor.
